HOW IT STARTED
From One Truck to a Local Supply Yard
When Dalton Sommers started Sommers Landscape Supply in 2014, he brought years of landscaping experience with him.
He knew what it was like to be on the other side of the counter: figuring out how much material a project needed, finding products you could count on, and getting them delivered when and where they were supposed to be.
Sommers started with a single delivery truck. Today, the business has grown to a four-truck operation serving homeowners, professional landscapers, and contractors throughout the area.
But the goal hasn’t changed much.
Make it easier to get the right material, in the right amount, to the right place.

HERE FOR THE DIY PROJECT AND THE DAILY ROUTE
Landscape Supply for Homeowners & Pros
Homeowners
You don’t have to know exactly how many yards you need or which stone is best before you call us.
Use our calculators, browse the products available and ask questions. We’ll help you figure out what makes sense for your project before you order.
Contractors
When landscaping is your business, you need materials without wasting time.
Sommers works with professional landscapers and contractors who need dependable supply, quick loading, delivery and access to contractor pricing.
Why Sommers
More Than a Place to Pick Up Mulch
Real People, Real Help
Not sure what material you need? Give us a call. We’d rather help you figure it out before you order than send you home with the wrong product.
Delivery That Works Around Your Project
Choose your material, tell us how much you need and show us exactly where you want it dumped. We’ll confirm the details with you before the truck heads out.
Products for Every Season
Mulch, stone, soil, seed, and hardscape supplies keep projects moving through the warmer months. When Wisconsin winter arrives, we switch gears with bagged and bulk winter salt.
Local Knowledge
We’re not a national warehouse shipping products from somewhere else. We’re a local supply yard in Cottage Grove serving the communities around us — and those communities have voted us Best of Madison four years running.
